Grit in Somerville, MA reached out to work with us on a video project to display their product, the Freedom Chair in action. We met with the Grit team and brainstormed while getting to know them & the product they make. The Freedom Chair is an off-road wheelchair that is completely designed to break the boundaries of where a conventional wheel chair can go, So with this in mind we felt it was important to not only showcase the wheelchair in its natural habitat, woods and/or trails but also showcase the fact that it can be a complete full-time mode of transportation day in and day out for any disabled person. So naturally we felt the best plan was to showcase a younger woman using it for an entire day off while going for a morning trail ride, to picking up lunch at a local farmers market and meeting her friends for a picnic and evening adventure in the park. We coordinated all pre-production, location scouting, & shot the entire video in one day to keep with the feel of the narrative. After the shoot we preformed all post production editing, color grading, revisions & over saw the content launch releasing small 15 second trailers a few days before the full video launch. The end goal was to premiere the video on Facebook as social media marketing for Grit. The video was launched on Facebook August 24th & recieved 30,000 views, 42 Shares, Over 100 likes & reactions.
